Lacewing Eggs

I noticed this neatly-spaced row of tiny eggs under a leaf at night in the Peruvian Amazon. Note the liquid droplets along the thread-like egg stalks – the fluid is oily and contains chemicals that are an irritant to predators, such as ants.
